A Day at Rambert Bring your school, college or university to Rambert for a day of workshops Visit us at the Rambert building, a state-of-the-art facility on London’s South Bank for a day of workshops. All schools, colleges and university groups are welcome, and we will cater the content especially to your needs. Build your own day with a menu of activities, including practical workshops, archive workshops and a building tour. What activities can we choose from? Practical Workshop (2-3 hours) A practical dance session with one of our expert Rambert facilitators. These sessions will help students explore their creativity, delve deeper into their imaginations and develop their self-expression. Students will explore a recent piece of Rambert repertoire, looking at the themes of the work, the choreography and the creative process, all while honing the technique skills. Teachers can also request a specific focus, for example, performance or choreographic skills. Archive Learning Session (2 hours) In this session, the Rambert Archivist will show students and teachers archive documents and films that can’t be found anywhere else. These sessions can be tailored to any Rambert dance you wish to cover and can also include the history of the company. The sessions follow the AQA Dance curriculum at BTEC, GCSE, A-Level and also graduate and PGCE level. Building Tour (30 mins) A member of the Rambert team will show your group around our building, with a chance to see the studios, costume department, and Rambert offices. How much does it cost? We offer flexible pricing depending on your school’s needs. Get in touch with us at [email protected] to find out more. How do I book?
