Parking Due to our central London location and infrastructure Rambert are unable to offer general parking to our visitors. There are a number of public parking bays available on Upper Ground and Doon St, along with a public car park at the National Theatre opposite our building. For visitors with accessibility requirements we can provide some limited off street parking to support your visit to Rambert, please contact [email protected] or 0208 6300600 in advance of your visit to arrange this. Please note that due to our production schedule this facility might not be available at short notice. Building Access The Rambert building has ground level step free access from the front entrance on Upper Ground. All levels of the building (LGF – 4F) are serviced by a passenger lift designed to accommodate all types of mobility devices plus one other person. Lift control panels are located at a wheelchair friendly height and all lifts have braille buttons. All our staircases are fitted with 2-way communication refuge points and fire evacuation chairs. Our visitor bathroom and changing facilities are located on the 1st floor of the building they accommodate all accessibility needs, and are assigned for all gender identities. Studio Access Rambert Studio door access is 5.3ft wide Linden & Mercury Studio door access is 5.7ft wide Kleinwort Studio door access is 3ft wide Signage We are currently improving our signage across the building, but all signage is labelled with brail for our visitors with vison impairment. Symbols have been used on signage where appropriate to guide visitors round the building. Audio Our reception area has a hearing loop installed for visitors and we are able to provide a selection of microphones to be used in the larger studios if needed. Service Animals Rambert welcomes Service Animals into all parts of the building. Emotional Support animals are allowed in the Workspace. Please be aware that welfare facilities for support animals are not available onsite and all owners will be fully responsible for the action of their animal, which will need to be kept under control and on a lead, harness, or in a pet carrier at all times.
