CPD: A-Level Choreography – Inspiring Creativity, Developing Original Movement, and Responding to Stimuli

Join us for the first Rambert Classroom CPD of the 2025/26 academic year.

This session is designed for A-Level Dance teachers, but is also valuable for those teaching GCSE and KS3 Dance.

Led by former Rambert dancer Caiti, the session will explore how to inspire your students in the choreographic process, with practical strategies directly linked to the A-Level specification.

What you’ll gain:

• Movement Components – Explore action, spatial, and dynamic elements. Learn how to guide students in creating diverse movement material, structuring content, and working with other constituent features.
• Exploring Stimuli – Discover rehearsal tasks and approaches to help students generate ideas and build confidence at the beginning of the creative process.
• Performance Support – Techniques that not only help with the choreography module but also strengthen the performance element of the course, with links to the quartet task in the performance module.
