Contemporary Intermediate

In this class, Belinda will guide you through a series of exercises which blend the use of torso, fall and recovery, spatial pathways, flow and momentum.

Drawing from her training in Cunningham, Limon and Release techniques, class will start with short technical exercises that build into more complex travelling steps, dynamic swings and longer choreographic phrases. In this class a sense of community and shared experience is created, providing an environment where participants feel safe, challenge themselves and above all, have fun.

Suitable if: you’ve taken a few months of contemporary dance classes before, are comfortable with the basics, and would like to develop your technique and creativity.
