Work note: Created for Ballet Rambert's 'Dance for New Dimensions' programme of works designed for thrust (open) stages. The title is a line from Wilfred Owen's poem 'Anthem for Doomed Youth'. In later performances, the punctuation of the title was changed to '… for those who die as cattle'.
