Rambert is a leading contemporary dance company known for its innovative and diverse performances, while Rambert School offers professional dance training for students aspiring to become professional dancers. Rambert focuses on producing and performing dance works, whereas Rambert School concentrates on education and training.

No, you don’t need to book for a full term, you have the option of either booking a drop-in class or the term, it‘s your choice. Drop in booking opens 6 days before each class.
If you book a term of classes with us and realise the class isn’t quite right for you, you can cancel or switch to another class within 14 days of the term starting. If you opt for a refund, you will be refunded in full, minus any classes that have already taken place.
After the first two weeks of term, we can only offer refunds based on illness/injury and on receipt of a doctor’s note. Classes are non-transferable, so we are unable to offer an alternative if you miss a class in the term.
Our classes are programmed by a team of experienced dance professionals who curate a diverse range of classes to cater to different ages, levels, and interests. They work with a roster of skilled instructors to ensure high-quality instruction.

Yes, you can book on the phone and in person, whatever you prefer. You can phone us anytime between 9am-6pm 020 8630 0600 or feel free to pop by our building during these times and our reception team will book you in.
We recommend wearing comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for a full range of movement. Specific attire requirements may vary by class type and will be detailed in the class description.
Our classes cater to a wide range of age groups, from children and teenagers to adults and seniors. Specific classes are designed for each age group to ensure appropriate content and pacing.
We offer classes for all experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers. Each class description includes the recommended experience level, so you can find the one that best suits your background.
Yes, we provide a variety of gift vouchers that make the perfect present for your loved ones. These vouchers can be redeemed for any of our on site classes. For more details, please click here.
Rambert Classroom is an online platform providing access to a wide range of dance and movement classes, tutorials, and educational resources designed for dancers of all levels. It aims to bring the experience of Rambert’s world-class teaching to your home.
Rambert Classroom is for anyone who teaches dance, with resources specifically designed to support the teaching of GCSE, BTEC and A-level dance but will also be helpful in teaching Key Stage 3.
Rambert Classroom has lots of resources to support different elements of dance education across a range of qualifications and exam boards. Head to SUPPORT and our site navigation section for a guide on the resources specific to your syllabus/level.
With a free account, you can access our content that supports the compulsory elements of GCSE and A-level, including: GCSE A Linha Curva resource pack, Rooster A-level resource pack, and the Rambert History 1966-2002 documentary video transcript.
With a paid account of £99 for a year-long subscription, you can access all content on the site.

You’ll need to make an account, and then you can select whether you would like to just keep your free account, or add the annual subscription for £99. You can by by card or by invoice

Unfortunately, due to copyright restrictions we do not have films of past Rambert works on Rambert Classroom. Where possible, we include short clips or direct you to where you can find more footage (e.g. Rouge is on BBC Dancing Nation).
If you’re unable to find footage of a specific Rambert work, you can contact our archive team where you can book an appointment to watch any piece in the Rambert archive. Email [email protected] to find out more.
Yes, we offer a range of in-person workshops which you can find here.
If you’re a Rambert Classroom paid subscriber, you also get 3 CPD sessions across the year catered to develop your teaching practice. One each term; a chance for you to connect with other teachers, meet Rambert dancers and develop your practice. Offered in person at Rambert HQ and online, with recordings of each available afterwards so you won’t miss out if you’re not able to attend. This is all included when you pay the £99 annual subscription.
Rambert Plus is our digital home. Here you’ll find behind the scenes videos, podcasts, short films, soundtracks and on demand classes. Anyone can create a free account and access the content. With a monthly subscription, you can also take unlimited, on demand classes.
Rambert Classroom is our digital platform, but specifically for dance teachers.
Both sites use the same login details, so if have a Rambert Plus account already and want to sign up to Rambert Classroom, you can use the same login for Rambert Classroom and vice versa.
Rambert Grades is a comprehensive dance syllabus developed by Rambert in collaboration with industry experts. It offers structured training and assessment for students, covering various levels of proficiency, and is designed to nurture technical skills, creativity, and artistry in dance.
Ballet Rambert is the former name of the company. Over the years, as the company evolved and its repertoire expanded beyond classical ballet to include contemporary dance, the name was shortened to Rambert to reflect this broader focus.
