2026 Auditions Rambert is seeking exceptional dancers to join the company for It’s a Sin, a new touring production inspired by Russell T Davies’ landmark Channel 4 series. Rambert transforms this iconic story into a powerful dance production exploring love, friendship and survival, directed and choreographed by Rambert’s Artistic Director, Benoit Swan Pouffer. We are seeking dancers for fixed-term contracts from October 2026 to July 2027, with the potential for extension. Applicants should meet the following criteria: • A high level of technical proficiency in both ballet and contemporary dance is essential. • Strong theatrical performance skills and experience in narrative performance are highly desirable. • Applicants must be versatile, collaborative artists with a fast pick-up ability. • Applicants must be willing to work primarily as swings, learning and maintaining multiple tracks across the production, with the potential to perform an ensemble track in It’s a Sin. • Significant professional performance experience is desirable; however, recent graduates will also be considered. The engagement is specifically for the creation and touring of It’s a Sin, with potential for extension and future opportunities with Rambert. FAQ's How old do I need to be? Applicants must be over 18 years old. Please note that this is not an audition for our junior ensemble, Rambert2. We’re looking for dancers with significant, high-level professional experience, and a strong base in ballet and contemporary technique. Do I need to be UK-based? You will need to base yourself in or near London for the duration of your contract. Can I do other work while in the company? This is an audition for full-time, fixed-term contracts with Rambert’s main company for our new production, It’s a Sin. How will the auditions work? Dancers must apply here to book their chosen slot for Sunday, 6 September. First round auditions, including a 45-minute class, will take place on Sunday, 6 September. You must be available to attend recall auditions at any time on Monday, 7 September. If your chosen time slot is fully booked, please select a different start time before joining the wait list.
