Career Highlights:

Whilst at Peter Schaufuss Ballet, Simone performed the lead role of Peter Pan in Michael I’m Bad. At Theater Ulm she danced the lead in Cinderella, Tybalta in Romeo and Juliet, and the Sacrificial Dance in Le Sacre du Printemps. Since joining Rambert, Simone has particularly enjoyed working with Choreographers Kim Brandstrup, Didy Veldman, Christopher Bruce, Sharon Eyal, Jo Strømgren, Marion Motin, Imre Van Opstal, Marne Van Opstal and Wim Vandekeybus.

Simone enjoys choreographing and has choreographed for the young choreographer’s platform at Theater Ulm, the musical Hair and the play Bernada Alba’s House. She has created works for Rambert’s new choreography platforms including RIFT (2014), Bravery (2015) Tempus (2016) and Endless Endings (2021), presenting these at The National Theatre’s River Stage, Wilderness Festival, Resolution at The Place and Draft Works at The Royal Opera House. Simone also founded The Playground – a free, monthly creative platform for professional artists supported and held at Rambert’s studios. Simone won Best Female Dancer at the 2020 Critics’ Circle Dance Award.
