Rosie Wilson-Sidlauskas aka Rosie Rose is our inspiring new street dance foundations teacher. She loves dancing to live music and different genres of music. For her, dance is a way of expressing her own emotions physically. She thinks the human body is made for moving and grooving, and we totally agree. When you take Rosie’s class, you’ll for sure ‘feel the funk!’. Rosie Rose will help you surprise yourselves to feel comfortable to share dance with others, as well as your own heart and soul. Rosie Rose has trained in Ballet, Tap and Jazz dance and discovered Hip Hop dance styles in her teens. She moved to London continuing her dance training at IRIE! Dance theatre delving into African Traditional dances and Caribbean folk dance, she later received a Dance and Drama Award scholarship funding her studies in Professional Musical Theatre at WAC Arts (2011- 2014). Rosie Rose worked as a freelance artist in many independent projects involving creative, performance and teaching work across London, New York, France, Denmark, Senegal and The Netherlands. Performing as a hip-hop and contemporary dance artist extensively with Myself UK Dance Company and The Locksmiths Dance Co. In 2019 she produced, directed and performed ‘Pramkicker’ a two- hander theatre piece performed at The Hope Theatre, Islington.
