Pilates: Open level
Symeon explains each exercise in detail so you can understand the qualities of movement you need to develop, with an emphasis on being safe. His teaching approach encourages you to learn how to make personal choices for your body and progress or regress according to your needs. Props are used to either challenge or simplify certain exercises. The class covers most of the classical mat Pilates exercises but with a more contemporary approach and variations to train.
Meet the teacher: Symeon
Symeon Kyriakopoulos trained as a dancer at The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and is a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor. His classes have a controlled pace but are strong with emphasising on technique and alignment. He integrates in his classes exercises that challenge coordination and balance.
