Ballet: Intermediate

Nina’s upbeat class emphasises placement, spatial expansion, lyricism, and musicality. The focus will be on artistic expression, and how correct technique and coordination facilitates pace and speed. Dancers and students alike, are welcome to work on their technique, feel up on their leg, placed and ready to dance, whatever their background.

Suitable if: you are comfortable with the basics of Ballet and want to progress your technique with new challenges and combinations.

Nina started her career as an actress and a dancer and featured in many productions for TV, in movies and on stage. This led to her teaching and coaching ballet companies and dancers, e.g., Ballet Black, Michael Clark Company, Fabula Collective and Company Wayne McGregor.

Nina was Ballet Mistress for Rambert2 and company class teacher at Rambert1. She is also the Executive Vice President of Zena Rommett Floor-Barre® Technique and oversees the tri-annual worldwide training of over 130 teachers in NYC, Mexico and in Europe. She has been on the Board of Directors of the ZR Floor-Barre® Foundation since 2017.

Nina is known for creating a positive learning environment and her energetic, engaging style combines her high-level experience in dance and movement with her background as a coach.

She lights the way in combining both the physical and the mental in overcoming limiting self-beliefs. She instinctively tailors all her training to what her students need, to help them identify their strengths and develop their own inherent talents.
