Make It Yours Introduction
When choreographing, it is normal to feel distracted by inner judgments about your work. And consciously or unconsciously, we may repeat or imitate movement that we already know rather than create something original and personal.
Professional choreographers also have to overcome these fears and obstacles. Those inside voices may never go away, and it takes real effort to disrupt our habitual movement patterns. However, there are strategies we can use to help us move through these moments and stay true to our intentions.
