Lesson 10: Practical Lesson
Note: You can extend to one more lesson if you have time in your planning. Please also adapt timings best suited to your practical lessons as we appreciate you might need to cater time for students to change back into school uniform.
You can either teach them a section of A Linha Curva taken straight from the performance, or an inspired version which you can workshop using the lesson plan.
Learning Objective: To explore A Linha Curva practically and confidently be able to perform a section inspired by the work.
Success Criteria:
ALL: To be able to perform and pick the key phrase motifs in A Linha Curva.
MOST: To confidently be able to perform a piece of choreography inspired/taken from A Linha Curva.
SOME: To be able to successfully retain the choreography learnt and adapt it by incorporating spatial content and adding moments of canon.
